14. Noted author and filmmaker Ajey Jhankar passed away in a private hospital. He was 57.

15. Indian professional tennis player Leander Paes & Canadian Adil Shamasdin has won the first title of the season Leon Challenger Tour tennis tournament's men's doubles trophy after a straight-set win in Mexico.
